India’s Spike In Exports Of Electrical Machinery

Indian Electrical Machinery And Equipements exports have grown 3x from the fiscal year 2013-14 to 2022.

Indian pieces of machinery are known for their high quality worldwide, and the Indian Government has a growth of 82,639 crores rupees in the fiscal year 2022.

In the fiscal year 2013-14, during the early days of the BJP government in India, the machinery export was 24,848 crore rupees.

In the present Indian Government, Shri Piyush Goyal (57)is the Minister of Commerce & Industry (2019-present), Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (2020-present), Textiles (2021-present), and Leader of the Rajya Sabha (2021-present).

He has previously held the portfolio of Minister of Railways, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Coal, Power, New & Renewable Energy, and Mines.

Shri Piyush Goyal successfully spiked the export of Machinery and Equipment to different countries.

In a recent interview with a popular news outlet, Shri Piyush Goyal said that the Indian Government, under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is planning to make the machinery export 10x by 2030.

Shri Piyush Goyal also said that freebies and subsidies would be given to support Indian exporters.

In addition, Shri Piyush Goyal added that the Government is planning dry ports in the business points across the states of India.

Europe Survey

According to a survey done by the Indian Government in 2020, ordinary European consumers are looking out for goods that are “Made in India.”

Made In India

In the survey report, Europeans say: Made-in-India products are more reliable and efficient with good customer support.
